Cacti flower?

My father gave me a cutting of this about 3 years ago.It finally flowered last sping. I'm hoping that it will bloom this year.The photo doesn't do it justice. My hand next to it gives you an idea of just how big it was.

I loved making this. I first saw it done in Australian Papercraft magazine. I adapted it to my liking of Australian colours

The slide mount was done using
Pipe dream Ink opals (wild hibiscus,Fernglade,Sunburnt)
Letters A T C done with acrylic paints
Large leaves coloured with stazon olive green and clear embossed this 3 times

Time flies

Boy doesn't time fly.I can't believe i haven't posted for so long.Well the teaching went well.But i don't think it will last.The owner of the shop was saying that she isn't getting enough people in and isn't making a lot of profit.So i wouldn't be surprised if they close.Which is sad as we don't have a scrapbook shop in town,nearest is 45 mins away. But then i do love shopping online and ebay.

Teaching

Im so excited i have been asked to teach classes on scrapbooking, cardmaking,bookmaking etc. Start Thursday 6th September.
