Egyption Collaborative Book

I recently joined in a book swap. My eldest daughter Alisha loves anything to do with Egypt. So this book is a present to her. I showed her the pages I did and told her to pick the one she liked. I put this one aside for her book to add to later. All she knew was that i was doing this swap.

This is the page she choose. Done on black cardstock images were stamped and embossed in fine gold embossing powder. The image was done doing the sticky tape technique. Then I added acetate over the top using eyelets. I stamped images in Stazon White on the acetate. The gold border was done with stickers.

Ducks @ 6 months

This is Zig who i now know is a drake and not a female as i first thought.

Zag is the female which has the most beautiful coloured feathers. She has not long started laying eggs. I always thought the males have the colourful feathers

Castle for my princess

I made this for Alisha my oldest daughter. At the time she loved pink. Now she likes Island blue. MMMmm go figure.

Look who came visiting

Possum mother and baby (aren't they the cutest). But don't think they won't hurt you. They will scratch and bite you if you try to handle them. Possum's are nocturnal, my dog chased them up our tree in the back yard. So they will stay until night time, then i'll bring her inside so they can escape. I feed them apples and bananas. When the mother had her back turned i got to touch the baby and it started smelling my hand. They are so cute.
